Viviane Sorg is Head of the Swiss Institutional market. She joined Pictet Asset Management in December 2017 as a Senior Business Development Manager in our Zurich based institutional team and was promoted to Head Institutional Sales Switzerland in July 2020.
Prior to joining Pictet, Viviane spent thirteen years at UBS and seven years at Credit Suisse, where she was responsible for Swiss and European Equity Sales to institutional investors, pension funds and family offices across Switzerland. Viviane started her career as a financial analyst in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs in London in 1995.
Viviane holds a BA Hons in Economics from the European Business School in London.

Luc Markwalder joined Pictet Asset Management in 2007 as a Senior Manager for institutional clients in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. He is in charge of the French-speaking team since end of 2021. Before joining Pictet, he spent six years as a senior portfolio manager at Union Bancaire Privée managing institutional balanced mandates. He began his career in 1998 as a portfolio manager at UBS Asset Management in Zurich. Luc holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Fribourg. He is a qualified Certified European Financial analyst (CFPI/AZEK).

Pascal Woerlen joined Pictet in 2009 and is the Head of Institutional Client Relations for German-speaking Switzerland. Previously he worked as a Senior Client Relationship Manager and before that as Product Specialist covering hedge funds, private equity and real estate products in Geneva and Zurich. Before joining Pictet, he worked for Unigestion as an Institutional Product Specialist with responsibility for Hedge Funds Client Relationship Management and Business Development. Pascal holds an MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (HEI) in Geneva. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Stephen joined Pictet Asset Managment from HSBC Global Asset Management (Switzerland) in 2016, where he was responsible for Institutional & Corporate Business Development. Prior to HSBC in Switzerland, he spent almost 10 years in Paris with HSBC and then Aviva Investors where he was responsible for Institutional business development in Continental Europe. Stephen has a Bachelor of Economics from Queen's University in Canada and a Master's in Finance from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
